They bear the unmistakable "bird wings," which is a dark 'V' design in the bark where a branch had once started. Much like Woolrich has done with their durable and rigged woolen fabrics since its inception in 1830; the birch tree has some incredible defense mechanisms that protect the tree from weather, rain and sun. The resin pieces are accented with a wood base and top held together by raffia twine strapping.
